Facebook

What should I say... Facebook, the "new" way to communicate... publicity for everybody and nobody can be reached... where in general nobody will really notice anybody there are now follower, likers and people very neatly arranged in circles...

The price is to give your perosnal data and put up images of the last party with the half naked sweety gal (or guy) who granted a seat on her/his lap so you could better drink the a finest bottle of vodka which was only 12 years older than yourself...

We will not cover how illegal it is to drink that kind of alcohol if you are only 12 years old yourself (who would care anyway? It is the internet were we are all incognito, right?) but it seems like it is not important neighter, that everybody including your potential employer and since we are experiencing a rising spread for people over 30 at facebook too your proud parents and grandpartens.

But hey, it is only logical that people will employ you if they can easily see what you have been doing using the cool timeline-feature on facebook. On the other hand: Since everybody is doing it, who cares? The employer will have to employ somebody after all and since there is nobody not doing it... but wait? Nobody? No, there is this little village in france in the middle of nowhere which is still fighting ba....

I still remember times (long, long ago...) when so called websites were created by people who often at least have known a little about what it would mean to put up images or some other content to the internet. Sure, it was less fun because not every minor could put up videos of naked dancing with only the bra of the girly next to you over your head...

The good thing about it: The next anti-drugs campaign will have nice image material because what many people did not notice till now: Facebook has all the rights for the content upload to its platform. So today you are only a unknown guy somewhere, but tomorrow you could be the cover face of the next laxative for people with some urging problems... you can not say that this is not a nice push for your carrier.

Oh just to mention it: I am on facebook too... please like me! *eyes rolling*.

X

If my website sucks, you do not need to visit it.
Have a nice day and think about how much you have payed to visit it? Nothing...
How many ads do you see at it? None.

How much money do I earn from it? Nothing.
Does it cost me something to host it? Hell yeah.

I do not see why I should provide it to you to be insulted?
