Minion-Mariage... or: What you should put on a cake (Part 2)

After some quite difficult worksteps it really happend: I have printed the Minions fast enough. It really was not easy but it worked out. As you can see on the images I had to glue parts together because just putting it on the build plate and printing it out wasn't possible. So I had to cut those Minions in parts (oh my God...! ;)) and put them together afterwards. By the way: If you are searching for a good glue for 3d printed parts, I would ...

Minion-Mariage... or: What you should put on a cake (Part 1)

A co-worker of mine will marry soon (she already is before law but not at the church yet... deside for yourself if she already is or not ;) ) and I've have create a small minion couple and want to print it for her. The first steps of the long road ahead are done and those can be seen here These characters are created in A:M and they will be printed in 3d on my Makerbot Replicator 2 or 2x (which can be quite challenging , if you ask me...) ...

3d printed head phone holder for table plate

I had a problem at my work desk: Where to put the head phones? I've put them on the pc case where they may have covered a small portion of the air flow from the case. It isn't bad, but it is not ideal neighter. And of course it was troublesome to put the cables of the head phones in a suitable position. To solve that problem I have created a design for a head phone holder for the table plate. He can be put on the table plat as seen in the first ...

Complex 3d print: Door traffic light

Today a new 3d printed piece has been produced in my small home factory. A relativly complex traffic light for doors to bee assembled. What is a door traffic light? With this you can define, whether a visitor is welcome, you are busy but if it is important the visitor can come in or if there is too much to do right now to have a visitor. This can be used for converence rooms to tell people outside if this is a very important customer meeting ...

Spice Bed Signs

Since we recently moved with our company to a new place, we are now pleased with much more space and a small garden. Some of my colleges created a new spice bed in that. Someone asked for signs so that we can tell which one is groving where... asked for? Done! WIth a 3d printer everything is possible ;).
