Display-Holder

After a few month of storage a display holder was lost for one of the displays of my company. To replace it, I used Animation:Master and my Makerbot Replicator 2 to model and print it. You can see it already: It works in my tests and seems to be capable of holding the pressure without a problem since some hours. This is the 4th prototype of this part till I got the angle right and the size exactly fitting.

Makerbot Replicator 2: Wood filament Print

A new print with a new filament type: Wood. It was really easy to do that with the new adjustable extruder. Adjusted the pressure, used the same temperatures like with PLA-prints and it worked out great. The result smells like warm wood and feels like cork. Makerbot Replicator 2: Adjustable Extruder

My new Adjustable Extruder is the new extruder update I am working with since 1 week now and I have to say, that it is the best I had till now. My new extruder printing with SoftPLA, the ...

Responsive Layout

Yesterday I did a quick attempt to make PatchWork3d.de a little more responsive. What is that? A responsive Design / Layout is one which will try to match the screen size of the device you are looking at it. That means, that for instance the content part will always take 80% of the screen no matter if the user looks at it on a 24" display with a FullHD resolution of 1080p or with a tablet with 720p resolution (or even smaller). But be aware ...

The Homeserver

Some time ago, I have bought myself a home server. That piece of technology was interesting because of two things: I wanted to access the same data from my 3 computers when rendering with Netrenderer (the network rendering client of Animtion:Master). Higher datasecurity than working with plain USB harddrives. I could have bought a simple NAS, but I wanted something with 4 drive slots and Windows OS, since I wanted to run A:M Netrenderer (works ...

If my website sucks, you do not need to visit it.
Have a nice day and think about how much you have payed to visit it? Nothing...
How many ads do you see at it? None.

How much money do I earn from it? Nothing.
Does it cost me something to host it? Hell yeah.

I do not see why I should provide it to you to be insulted?
